On Sunday the 10/11/19 we had 9 juniors turn up to race the first of the annual Schools Cross Country races.
These races are organised by Garscube Harriers and take place in Maryhill Park.
The format is that P5, P6 and P7 run in their own age groups while all secondary pupils run as one complete group.
All age groups run a distance of 2k.
The conditions underfoot were not too bad ,even if the grass was a little long at bits, and the weather was dry, sunny and about 3 degrees.
A special mention to Callum who was 9th P6 boy (10th overall) and Fionn who was 3rd secondary boy (4th overall) .
Unfortunately Ava was unable to finish the race due to a sprained ankle.
