This year the summer Springburn Canal Race included a couple of junior races, a 1.5km race for primary schools and a 3km race for secondary.
Maryhill had 4 junior athletes in the 1.5km race – Patrick Papa, Drew McCartney, Hannah Prior and Erin Prior.
Patrick was 3rd overall in a time of 5:04
Drew was 7th overall and first girl in a time of 5:14
Hannah was 20th in a time of 6:05
Erin was 24th in a time of 6:19
There were 39 runners in the 1.5km race in total.
