Balloch to Clydebank Half Marathon

A magnificent seven Harriers made the journey to Balloch for the annual jaunt up to Clydebank, the weather was very kind to the runners bright cold and sunny with a well timed shower with a couple of miles to go to end the race perfectly.
Alan stole the show on the day winning the club Half Marathon Championship and taking nearly 20 mins off his PB with a fine sub 90 min performance just ahead of the injured Andy who limped home to claim his Merit League points and Kieran who had sandwiched the race into a twenty mile training run.
Linda won the ladies (club) race coming home Champ ahead of Liz in a time not far off her best, with me and Fletcher making up the numbers and enjoying good runs.
Many thanks to the Maryhill marshals who gave us all a great boost with a mile to go it was very much appreciated.
