Kirkintilloch 12.5k

We had three Harriers, Craig, Cat and Chris, running officially in this test of stamina and two mobile supporters in the shape of Mick and Joe. This year was an out and back due to flooding on the course but it didn’t diminish from the usual tough race we know and love. Craig was first Harrier home in his debut at this event followed by Chris, being paced by Mick, and then Cat putting in a very good performance on her debut, not far behind.

The race was won by Derek Hawkins of Kilbarchan in a course record of 39m 50s after running the course first as a warm up then again after the race as a cool down, not surprising he is a contender for the marathon in 2014.

First female (19th overall) was Claire Mcarthur of Shettleston in 49m 35s.

32nd Craig White 51m 21s
102nd Chris Hever 60m 33s
132nd Cat Nisbet 63m 27s (25th Female)
