On Tuesday evening 14/5/13 we had 25 juniors turn up to race the club’s annual XC Race. The race took place in Maryhill Park and consisted of 1 lap of the perimeter of the park, a distance of 1 mile. The race was marshalled by the adult section and Thank you to Rachel Stevenson who helped with the time keeping.
The weather was sunny, dry and not too hot. Perfect. However, the underfoot conditions were wet, sodden and, in parts, a little mucky.
First male home was Andrew Stevenson and first female was Heather Stevenson. Well done to them both and to ALL the juniors who ran so well.
