On Sunday 13/11/16 we had 7 juniors brave the rain to compete in the annual XC championships at Balloch. The race starts and finishes at Balloch Castle in the country park with junior running 1, 2 or 3 miles depending on their age group.
The underfoot conditions were not too bad with only a couple of slippy/mucky sections and the rain managed to stay at a drizzle.
I would like to congratulate all the juniors who took part and special congratulatios to Erin, Lorna and Ameerah on their 3rd place U11 girls team.
Also a big thanks to Ameerah and her mum for their support of the adult race.
