The 5K Dunky Wright race organised by the Clydesdale Harriers took place on Saturday. The fairly flat course involved one and half laps of the Clydesdale business park followed by about a 1K route to the main road followed by a final 1.5K along the canal. Conditions were pretty good apart from a slight head wind when heading West through the business park. The race was won by Chris Mackay (Inverclyde AC) in a time of 14.29. Claire Gibson (Kilbarchan AAC) was first woman home in a time of 16.41. The mighty Maryhill Harriers were represented by John Weir, David McLenaghan, George Young and Andy Sutherland with great support from Captain and Mrs Curran. Club results were:
