Last night was the 3rd race in the Polaroid series, the Dumbarton 10K. Starting in East End Park outside St. Partick’s Primary School, the course was an out and back along the cycle path to the A82. The last third of the course was then a loop round Dumbuck and Bonhill Roads before finishing back in East End Park. The race was run in pretty cool conditions but after the rain of yesterday, running back along the cycle path was pretty humid. 769 runners completed the course. Like last week, the race was won by Tewodle Mengisteab (Shettleston Harriers) in a time of 31.06. Jennifer Wetton (Central AC) continues her domination of the ladies races in the Polaroid series with a third win in a row in a time of 35.28.
