On 12th May, three Maryhill Harriers popped over to Glasgow’s southside to take part in the annual fire-fighters Dick Wedlock Memorial 10k. Conditions in Pollok Park were ideal as all the runners started, and finished, on the track next to the police’s Lochinch sports facility. The course itself takes in a considerable part of the Pollok Parkrun course – except in reverse.
There was another coupla PBs for Craig and I, and Chris’ marathon training continues to pay dividends as he returns to his previous best. Many thanks to Caroline Hassan who provided cheers of encouragement for the runners on both their laps.
3rd – Gordon Curran – 35:58 (PB)(1st Firefighter)
23rd – Craig White – 41:00 (PB)
73rd – Chris Hever – 47:50 (SB)
