On a windy Saturday (3rd October) Maryhill Harriers was represented by 2 male teams and 1 female team in the McAndrew Road Relays – the first of the club winter merit league races. The course was the usual 3.25 round (and up and down) Jordanhill, made a little more difficult by the first mile being straight into the wind.
None of our teams finished last.
Special mentions go to Caroline for a superb 21:59 (faster than 4 of the guys), and Susan (29:58) for a great first outing in the blue of Maryhill. Thanks also to Caroline H, Duncan (jacket and bag holder extraordinaire), Sheina and Isobel for thier support.
