Dumyat Dash

On Monday 27th Sarah and myself ran a very snowy and icy route up Dumyat, this race replaced the Law Breaker as it was too dangerous due to ice. The race was 5.5 miles long with 1800ft of climbing.

61 Runners took part the winner being Alasdair Anthony, Ochil, in a time of 53:27.

First female was Catriona Buchanan, also from Ochil, in a time of 1:00:42

I managed 33rd with a time of 1:11:07.

Sarah battled her way through the gorse bushes and despite a fall, to finish 40th with a time of 1:13:03. This placed her 7th female overall and she picked up a bottle of wine for this.

Big thank you to the organisers for getting the race on in such tough conditions.
