Strathclyde Parkrun

I nipped out to Strathclyde Park on 13th November secretly harbouring aspirations of a season best time for the 5k. Having felt to be running well that week, I was quietly confident that I could pull it off. Sadly, it wasn’t to be. Although I started and remained in 1st place until approx 200m to go, the pressure from the runner behind still wasn’t enough to spur me on to a PB. I made it across the line in 19:17 – the third time I’ve done that time this year. Pffff.
