Polaroid Vale of Leven 10K

On Sunday 13 June I ran the Vale of Leven Polaroid 10k. It was the first time I had attempted one of the Polaroid series routes and was warned there was a hill – yikes! The weather was, well, ‘quite wet’ at the beginning but later cleared to become quite nice. Paula Carlin also ran it and came in at around the same time as me. My time was 1:00:08, which I was pleased with as there was a hill and I had a sore knee from tripping over a ‘caution’ cone at work a few days before. I’ll try not to do that next time.
