Polaroid Dumbarton 10k

Having recovered from the fiery hell that was last weeks Polaroid Clydebank 10k, three of our Harriers – Fletcher, Craig and I – popped back down the Clyde for another crack at these wonderfully well organised events. The conditions were ideal – sunny, just warm enough, and only the slightest of breezes as the race started, and finished, 150m or so down the road from where it used to. Personally speaking, I really enjoy running on the winding cycle path that the race mostly takes place on. Even the twists and turns around the streets of Dumbarton at the end make for a more interesting race. Special thanks to Mick and Wullie for making the journey down to support our runners – it was a great boost to see them at the turnaround point.

19th – Gordon Curran – 35:21(pb)
120th – Craig White – 40:17
639th – Fletcher Murdoch – 55:01
