4 Maryhill Harriers turned out for the monthly ‘3k on The Green’ held on the last Friday of every month down on Glasgow Green.
There was great performances all round, with those who’ve done the event before equalling – or bettering – their personal best for the distance. Out of the 57 who ran the event, Maryhill Harriers took up 4 of the first 15 positions.
Credit to Craig White who, having his first crack at this distance, not only ran an impressive time, but also ran his first mile of the race faster than he ran his single mile in the club’s recent Bannerman relay/time trial.
