On Saturday the 20th of October we had 9 juniors travel through to Helensburgh to compete in this years DAAA XC Relays. The weather on the day remained dry for the juniors with temperatures perfect for running. Underfoot conditions were also favorable as the previous week had been dry.
U11– The U11 race however does not take the relay format and is instead a straight race, with a distance of 1500m. All 3 U11 athletes were racing in club colours for the first time and ran very well.

U13/U15U17 – This race takes the usual format of a straight forward relay with each athlete covering a distance of 2500m. The format requires were possible that teams are made up of 1 athlete from each group. Isabella was the only athlete making her debut in the group and Jake was recorded on the day, unofficially, as 11/12min.
